Airlink has announced that it will be able to resume its scheduled Polokwane service from October 18.
The service was disrupted in April to enable Polokwane Airport to upgrade its emergency services to comply with civil aviation regulatory requirements after the airport had fallen below the minimum standard required for scheduled air services.
“The Johannesburg-Polokwane route is important for business travellers and plays a crucial role in supporting Limpopo’s economy. We are looking forward to resuming our regular flights, which we will serve up to three times a day,” said Airlink CEO and MD, Rodger Foster.
The flights are timed to provide travellers with convenient connections with Airlink’s domestic and regional flights through its Johannesburg hub at OR Tambo.
