The Flight Centre Travel Group has appointed Antoinette Turner as General Manager of its Flight Centre brand, effective February 1, 2023. She replaces Bianca Mazur, who has taken up a position with the group in Australia.

Turner will lead the retail sales and online support teams, as well as the newly launched sales centre focusing on cruising, groups, and incentives. She will be responsible for the collaborative engineering and innovation of the Flight Centre brand and will play a vital role in co-ordinating the brand’s future success, particularly in delivering an omni-channel experience for customers across multiple platforms.

She started with Flight Centre in 2007 as a travel consultant, spending time in the product space prior to gaining experience at shops and brands within the business. From there, she rose to Brand Leader for Cruiseabout before accepting the position of Gauteng Regional Sales Manager in 2019.

Turner has played a vital role in moving the business into the new era where travel has rebounded beyond expectations after the challenging COVID‑19 period and will continue to have significant influence over operational efficiencies across the Flight Centre business.

“I’m looking forward to sharing what I’ve learnt across the business over the past 16 years, positively impacting upon our people's careers and continuing to build a strong sales and team culture with our trademark winning attitude. Most importantly, I look forward to delivering a great experience to our most important stakeholder – our customer,” she said.
