That’s the question Asata is asking the industry as the first green shoots of recovery start to make themselves seen.
In November, the association is organising a Recovery Summit, which is free to members. Three weeks jam-packed with interesting talks, helpful advice, and thought-provoking insights. And insights are what the industry needs – a great deal has changed.

Kicking off on November 9, is an interactive ‘Back in the Saddle’ session with behavioural analyst, Teresa Richardson. The return to travel can feel like a shock to the system. What are the real skills you need today and tomorrow to get back in the saddle? Teresa will uncover the key differences between people and how stress can impact behaviour. She’ll show us how to connect with team members and clients on a more profound level. Every delegate will receive a personalised behavioural profile analysis report to help them understand their reactions, strengths, and weaknesses in the workplace. On November 10, the focus will be on the profile of the ‘new’ leisure traveller, who promises to be ‘keen, but cautious.’ It’s time to spotlight what travel experts should know about these leisure travellers and what makes them tick. Our own local travel heavyweights, Joanne Adolphe and Matthew Fubbs, will share their insights alongside an international tour operator.
Forever changed? The profile of the ‘new’ Corporate Traveller will be discussed on the third day, November 11. How has the profile of the corporate traveller changed over the past two years? How can TMCs prepare for the new corporate travel? Local and international panellists will look at how to adapt travel policies focusing on sustainability, trip necessity and duty of care.
