Aurora waives single supplements

Aurora Expeditions is waiving single supplement fees for solo travellers on selected summer voyages.

From May 8 until the 2024 Greenland, Svalbard, and Iceland cruises are sold out, solo travellers can be booked on these itineraries without a single supplement, reports travelpulse.com.

The cruise operator says solo travellers account for about 30% of its customer base.

“Expedition cruising is such a fantastic choice for solo travellers,” says David Tanguay, Aurora Expeditions’ Global Head of Sales. “Our smaller passenger numbers and relaxed approach create an intimate and friendly environment, where passengers’ interactions with the wild natural places we visit become a shared experience. We have had many solo travellers make lifelong friendships on our voyages and return for subsequent adventures with us.”

Aurora Expeditions is represented by Whitestar Cruise & Travel in the South African market.
