Bushfires continue to rage in New South Wales, affecting popular tourist areas and travel.
Qantas has issued a statement to say that the fires have disrupted the travel arrangements for a number of Qantas pax travelling to and from Sydney and Newcastle. Newcastle Airport, a regional hub about 175km north of Sydney, has reopened after a nearby bushfire forced its closure and evacuation.
