SA passport holders applying for Australian visas no longer require a visa affixed in their passport when travelling to Australia. The ‘label free’ measure was implemented in November last year.
All visa information for travellers entering Australia is now stored electronically and is accessed by airlines flying to Australia when passenger’s passports are swiped at check-in.
