Avis to shut down Point 2 Point business

In an email to the trade, Avis says it has decided to close its Point 2 Point business at the end of next month.

“This is due to the current and perceived longer-term economic circumstances,” the email goes on to say.

Avis will wind down the business systematically and will officially close Point 2 Point at the end of August.
