Azamara Cruises has unveiled its longest world cruise yet, set to depart for a 188-night adventure in 2027.

Azamara Quest will visit 37 countries and five continents along the journey, which will depart from San Francisco on January 5, 2027. The 2027 World Cruise adds an extra month to the length of the 2026 World Cruise.

The ship will sail to Hawaii, and then turn south to Polynesia. It will then call at New Zealand, Tasmania and Australia before sailing to Bali, beginning a two-month exploration of Asia. Stops along the way will include Thailand, Vietnam, China and Japan.

Azamara Quest will then cross the Pacific Ocean to visit Alaska and Canada before crossing the Atlantic to northern Europe, calling at Ireland, Germany, Latvia, Estonia and Sweden before concluding the world cruise in Denmark on July 12.

Azamara Quest is a small vessel, allowing passengers to access smaller ports that larger ships cannot reach, such as transiting the Kiel Canal in Germany or sailing into Shanghai and docking at The Bund.

“Imagine sailing as far south as Stewart Island, New Zealand, and as far north as Helsinki, Finland, all in one cruise. We are stopping to see the world’s most beautiful skylines and bridges. It will really be a remarkable, unforgettable journey,” said Dondra Ritzenthaler, CEO of Azamara Cruises.

Reservations for the world cruise are now open. Azamara is represented by Cruises International in the South African market.
