BA expands US routes

British Airways will fly direct to 26 cities in the US from London, this Northern hemisphere summer. The airline recently launched a Portland, Oregon, route, relaunched flights to Pittsburgh, and will start flights to San Jose, California, on June 13.

The new London-Portland service is the only direct route between the two destinations. It will operate five times per week.

With the relaunch of its Pittsburgh route, BA is the only airline to offer a direct flight from London to the Pennsylvanian city. The airline now offers a year-round four-per-week service.

On June 6, the airline began its third daily flight from LHR to Newark Liberty International Airport in New York.
