The Indonesia Ministry of Forestry has implemented a 700-person cap on the famous volcanic national park, Mount Rinjani.
According to thebalisun.com, the Minister of Forestry, Raja Juli Antoni, says the new policy will be rolled out to other national parks in Indonesia.
Mount Rinjani is permitted to accept 100 visitors a day, while its Senaru Route, Torean Route and Sembalun Route may also receive 100 trekkers a day. The less popular routes of Timbanahu, Tete Batu, and Aiq Beriq also permit 100 people per day.
