Become a ‘France Connaisseur’ and win

31 Oct 2024

‘France Connaisseur’, hosted by Atout France, the official French government agency promoting tourism in France and internationally, is offering travel agents the opportunity to explore a wealth of information about France’s regions, rich culture, and unique experiences.

The France Connaisseur platform features interactive modules covering popular destinations, cultural insights, culinary highlights, and practical travel tips, tailored to the preferences of South African travellers.

To make this initiative even more rewarding, Atout France has announced an exciting competition. The travel agent who completes the France Connaisseur programme with the best score in the shortest time will attend to the largest event in France dedicated to travel trade, the ‘Rendez-vous en France’.

Rendez-vous en France will take place in the beautiful city of Lyon from April 1-2, 2025.

The winner will get the opportunity to meet several French providers and improve their skills on France’s tourism offerings. The winner will also explore a region of France outside Lyon, attending a Fam trip just before the show.

To enter the competition, please sign up here (terms and conditions over here). If you already have an account, you can finish the course and participate in the competition.

Participants who complete the training will receive a certificate and the esteemed title of ‘France Connaisseur’, showcasing their commitment to promoting France as a top travel destination.

In addition, agents will gain access to exclusive resources, promotional materials, and networking opportunities with French tourism providers.

Agents can become a ‘French expert’, focusing the training only on some regions and get a bronze, silver or gold medal. To become a ‘France Connaisseur’, you will need to complete the whole course.

Please contact Elise Bergerard, Atout France Account Manager in South Africa, for more information: elise.bergerard@atout-france.fr
