BON Hotels has added Destiny Exclusive Hotel, Wellness Spa and Conference Centre in Kempton Park to its South African portfolio.
The modern 40-room hotel will be known as Destiny Hotel and Convention Centre by BON Hotels.
It is located in a private estate in Kempton Park, six minutes from OR Tambo International Airport and has easy access to the Gautrain and major highways joining Johannesburg and Pretoria.
Facilities include a bar, spa and wellness centre, gym and fitness hub, an in-house restaurant, business centre and outdoor swimming pools.
The newly built Ekurhuleni International Convention Centre seats up to 2 090 delegates, and is one of the largest conference centres in South Africa. It also includes six breakaway rooms and other smaller conference venues, translation booths, lounges, board rooms and a restaurant.
There are plans are to expand the hotel to 340 rooms, with construction likely to start early this year. Ceo of BON Hotels, Guy Stehlik, says the hotel and convention centre will set the benchmark in terms of capacity, management, service and facilities in Gauteng, and that its proximity to the airport, highways and Gautrain makes it accessible for both corporate, conferencing and leisure clients.
