Carnival Cruise Line will increase its daily gratuity and the price of its Bottomless Bubbles beverage package, effective April 2.
According to Cruise Critic, the cruise line sent an email to passengers notifying them that its daily gratuity would increase by US$1 (R16) per day. Cruisers in staterooms will now pay $17 (R272) per day, while those in suites will pay $19 (R303) per day.
Carnival is also increasing the cost of its adult Bottomless Bubbles beverage package to $11,99 (R192) per person, per day, up from $9,50 (R152). The price for the kids’ Bottomless Bubbles beverage package will remain at $6,95 (R111).
However, the company added that it would honour the existing price for pre-purchased packages until April 1.
