CemAir and Kenya Airways have signed an interline agreement enabling single-ticket itineraries and coordinated connections on key routes across both networks.
Kenya Airways customers will have access to routes via Johannesburg to destinations including Bloemfontein, Hoedspruit and Kimberley along with regional connections such as Maun, Victoria Falls and Harare. Similarly, CemAir customers will have access to KQ flights serving 15 destinations across Africa, including key hubs such as Dar es Salaam, Addis Ababa, Entebbe, Accra and Abidjan.
Kenya Airways currently operates three daily flights to Johannesburg and nine weekly flights to Cape Town. The agreement will enhance connectivity and expand the airlines’ operational network.
Miles van der Molen, CEO of CemAir, said: “We are delighted to be upgrading our longstanding relationship with Kenya Airways to a strategic partnership. Our combined networks and strengths create a solid foundation for future growth and connectivity across the continent and beyond, and we look forward to deepening this collaboration for the benefit of our customers.”
