Changes to Swiss Visa

The Swiss Regional Consular Centre in Pretoria and the Consulate General in Cape Town have introduced an appointment system for South Africans needing a visa to travel to Switzerland.  
The appointment system is managed by external service provider TLS. To confirm an appointment, applicants must pay a service fee of €4 (R55).  Once this service fee is paid, applicants will receive an email confirming their appointment.  
Clients without an appointment will not be able to submit their applications. 
The role of TLS is solely to provide information related to the visa applications and manage the appointment booking for the different Swiss representations in South Africa. It has no role in the decision process of the Swiss visa application. 
Visa applications have to be submitted directly to the Regional Consular Centre Southern Africa in Pretoria or the Consulate General in Cape Town after booking an appointment through TLS.
Regional Consulate Centre Southern Africa in Pretoria includes the South African provinces Free State, Gauteng, KwaZulu Natal, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, and North West, as well as Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Swaziland and Zimbabwe.
Consulate General in Cape Town includes the South African provinces of Eastern Cape, Northern Cape and Western Cape, as well as Namibia.
