The contents of the Mpumalanga-based Cybele Forest Lodge and Health Spa will be auctioned by Gerald Sadleir on December 1 after the lodge closed its doors on November 22.
Following a land claim by the Manzimhlophe Community, the lodge and 120 hectares of forestry land were purchased by the government on behalf of the community. All staff members were retrenched and the owners were asked to leave the property.
The auction will consist of about 600 lots and include furniture, pictures, rugs, bedding, silver, objets de vertu, flatware, kitchen, spa and laundry equipment, gym equipment, contents of the curio shop, garden and maintenance equipment and other items.
The auction will start at 08h30 at the Cybele Forest Lodge. Viewing dates are November 30 from 08h30 to 17h00 and December 1 from 07h45 until 08h30.
A R2 000 buyer’s refundable deposit is required.
For information or the catalogue, contact Gerald on Gerald@sadleir.co.za or +27 (0) 11 465 2970.
