Contiki launches new small group adventures

Contiki has launched five brand-new trips for small groups, across India, Nepal, Vietnam and Japan.

Small groups – up to 30 visitors – will be able to explore the destinations through more local experiences, including taking Muay Thai classes, sushi classes, crab-fishing and vegetable transplanting, as well as snorkelling on Koh Lanta island.

Accommodation options include treehouses in Thailand, junk boats in Vietnam and a night in a Buddhist guesthouse in Japan.

Added and optional ethical experiences include visiting panda sanctuaries in China, turtle conservation centres in Sri Lanka and an elephant sanctuary in Thailand.

New trips include the ten-day Delhi to Kathmandu Quest trip, priced from R26 803pps, the five-day Nepal Trek & Temples trip, from R10 415pps and the five-day Northern Vietnam Escape: Sapa & Surrounds trip, from R11 815pps.
