RCI plans bumper European season
ROYAL Caribbean International has announced that Anthem of
the Seas will be joined by Adventure of the Seas and Brilliance of
the Seas in the UK as part of an unprecedented 2015 European
season. Anthem of the Seas will homeport in Southampton in April
next year. Its inaugural European season will include 19 cruises to
the Spanish, French and Italian rivieras and the Canary Islands on
three- to 16-night itineraries. It will reposition to Port Everglades in
Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in late October 2015 to sail the Caribbean
until April 2016 for its first winter season. Royal Caribbean recently
became the first cruise line to receive ‘autism friendly’ certification,
offering services, venues and amenities that are accessible to guests
with autism and other developmental disabilities.


New ports of call for Crystal and Regent
CRYSTAL Cruises is expanding its range of ultra-luxury European
cruises with the addition of nine new ports of call. The new
destinations featured are Oban, Scotland; Ferrol, Spain;
Londonderry, Northern Ireland; Santander, Spain; Alta, Norway;
Galway, Ireland; Ibiza, Spain; Skagen, Denmark and St. Helier/
Jersey, Channel Islands. Regent Seven Seas Cruises is to include
new ports in its 2015 season by when its three ships will have
completed a multimillion-dollar refurbishment. Seven Seas Voyager
will call on new ports – the Solovetsky Islands in Russia, Malmö in
Sweden and Tyne, England on her Northern Europe sailings. New
destinations for Seven Seas Mariner include Trieste, Italy; Almeria,
Spain and Gythion, Greece. The ship will also sail from Lisbon down
the west coast of Africa, making inaugural calls in São Tomé. Seven
Seas Navigator will explore Alaska fresh from its refurbishment.
