Egypt relaxes curfew

Egypt’s nighttime curfew will now start two hours later, except on Fridays, when protests usually take place.

The curfew will now start at 21h00 and on Fridays at 19h00.

EgyptAir announced over the weekend that operations of all its international and domestic flights were as scheduled, with no planned cancellations. The airline’s passengers are requested to proceed to airport at least four hours before the scheduled departure time of international flights and 90 minutes before departure for domestic flights.

Evening and early-morning flights will be available for check-in before the start of curfew, starting from 17h00. Travellers are asked to ensure they have all necessary travel documents on hand to be presented at any security check point.

The airline also recommends its passengers use web and mobile check-in services to save time at airports.
