EMIRATES has launched
a new daily service from
Dubai to Phnom Penh
(PHN) capital of Cambodia,
effective July 1.
The flight operates from
Dubai to Phnom Penh
via Yangon, Myanmar,
using a Boeing 777.
Passengers can embark
and disembark in Yangon
in both directions, allowing
for direct return flights
between Phnom Penh
and Yangon. The flight
addresses the growing
demand for travel to both
countries, and broadens
Emirates’ network to 13
cities in eight countries in
Southeast Asia.
Flight EK388 departs
Dubai daily at 09h15,
arrives in Yangon at
17h25.
It departs Yangon at
18h55, and arrives in
Phnom Penh at 21h25.
Return flight EK389
departs Phnom Penh
at 23h10 and arrives
in Yangon at 00h40. It
departs at 02h10 and
arrives in Dubai at 05h40.
Cambodia is one of the
fastest growing economies
in Southeast Asia, and
Myanmar is a rising
country in the region.
This is the first time the
countries have been linked
by air since 2014.
