Ethiopian Airlines has revealed that it plans to introduce two new passenger flights to North America a year over the next few years.

Denver, Minneapolis, Seattle, Houston and Montreal are in the pipeline.

According to simpleflying.com, the carrier's Chief Commercial Officer, Lemma Yadecha Gudeta, says the new flights are a result of high demand for these destinations. The airline has significant numbers of passengers transferring to these routes, making it one of the largest operators in those markets.

According to data sourced by simpleflying.com, Johannesburg and Addis Ababa show good demand for Denver, with 59 000 passengers from those cities transferring to Denver between September 2022 and September this year.
