eTravel’s Open Forum takes to the open road

The pioneering ITC host company decided to get together with its ITCs in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Gqeberha to provide them with updates. This was done as a run-up to its hugely popular and much-anticipated Open Forum function, which comes around in October each year.

“Open Forum is our annual event where we celebrate the special partnerships we have with our preferred suppliers and celebrate the success of our professional and dedicated ITCs as well as our amazing and committed staff,” said MD, Tammy Hunt.

“We took our ITCs through override updates and we updated them on our progress regarding projects we are working on to take eTravel and our ITCs on to the next rung of the ladder in this ever-changing travel industry landscape,” said Hunt.

Tammy Hunt, Truda Louw, Ruan van Niekerk, Trent Wolff, Maree Adkins and Shelley Roberts attended the first eTravel Seminar in Cape Town on September 17, where ITCs attended in person, or off-site on a live streaming platform, to hear about the override and NDC updates as well as information on technology from a finance perspective.

Tammy and Shelley then travelled to give the Johannesburg presentation on September 18. Tammy then continued onward to Gqeberha (PE) where she met up with a group of PLZ- based ITCs on September before flying back to CPT.

The seminars will take place annually in September.
