EUROWINGS, a low-cost
carrier that is part of the

The new routes will be
serviced by an Airbus

its fare breakdowns. Fares

but are subject to change.
All fares are bookable on the
GDS.
Theresa Szejwallo, md of
The Travel Corporation, is
upbeat about the launch
of the flights and thinks it
will make travel to Europe
much more affordable. “Great
airfares are always welcome
and certainly do encourage
sales.”
Candice Perry, marketing,
media relations and social
media co-ordinator of
Thompsons Holidays, agrees,
and says it may even stimulate
more routes and flights out of
SA in future.
Jade Ender, travel consultant
of STA Travel, points out that
the flights will be ideal for
travellers who want to go to
Benelux countries, as Cologne
is near the borders of The
Netherlands and Belgium.
