Solenta Aviation Mozambique will base its domestic operations in Beira, under the fastjet Mozambique brand, with flights expected to begin in the second half of this year.
The airline will initially deploy three 50-seat ERJ145 aircraft. Route details have not yet been announced.
In December, Solenta Aviation Mozambique received its licence to launch regular domestic flights under the fastjet Mozambique brand. Flights were scheduled to launch last year, but government reviews and reforms delayed the issuance of the scheduled operator’s licence, Travel News reported.
