Flying to Mauritius just got better

AIR Mauritius has welcomed

its brand-new aircraft,

the A350 900, on the

Johannesburg route.

The A350 is a latest generation

aircraft, with the newest bells and

whistles in both economy and

business class.

The aircraft is equipped with

fully flat seats in business class,

a roomier and more comfortable

economy-class cabin, a stateof-the-art

inflight entertainment

system with full HD screens,

and inflight connectivity in all

classes. There are also a number

of special features, including a

quieter cabin, an array of mood

lighting options and a lower cabin

altitude, that help enhance the

travel experience and reduce

jetlag.

This marks the start of a fleet

modernisation programme that will

see eight new aircraft (six A350s

and two A330neo) join the Air

Mauritius fleet within the next five

years. A second A350-900 will be

delivered by the end of the year.

Initially, the first two A350-900s

will operate mainly on the Paris

and Johannesburg routes.
