Cresta Hotels is renovating its Francistown hotel, Cresta Marang Gardens, on the banks of the Tati River.

Fourteen new luxury chalets will replace the previous thatched chalets. Two of the new chalets are being designed as family chalets and another is being renovated into a presidential suite.

“These river-facing chalets have been meticulously designed with modern aesthetics, and are raised on stilts with the balconies facing the river. The strategic positioning facing the Tati River adds a safari look and feel, enhancing the overall guest experience,” said the Head of Projects at Cresta Marakanelo Limited, Keikutlwetse Raboloko.

The renovations, costing about R13 million, are expected to be completed by the end of this year.

Cresta Hotels runs 17 hotels – 11 in Botswana, five in Zimbabwe and one in Cape Town.
