Harvey World Travel Southern Africa has announced the integration of the ITC programme, BID travelambassadors into its operations, as well as a strategic rebrand.

BID travelambassadors, formerly a division of BIDTravel Holdings, is now fully incorporated under the Harvey World Travel Southern Africa umbrella.

“The integration of BID travelambassadors is the future,” said Kele Lekalake, MD of Harvey World Travel Southern Africa.

Lekalake explained that the ITC programme is designed to create new opportunities for industry professionals and to support the growth of smaller travel businesses.

Wholesalers and leisure, corporate, group and incentive agents can now choose to operate under their own unique brand in association with BID travelambassadors, or fully under the BID travelambassadors identity.

“We are seeing smaller businesses trying to develop into franchise owners. While they may start with only one employee, we want to support, train and direct them, so they can expand their business and eventually hire more agents,” she said.

With the backing of Harvey World Travel, BID travelambassadors receive access to training, technology, fare systems, exclusively negotiated airfares and competitive rates, as well as around-the clock support and tailored solutions.

The programme offers three different memberships with varying benefits and fee structures; taTicketing, taLite and taPremium.

Harvey World Travel has also completed a full digital rebrand, with a new logo, website and social media strategy.
