FOLLOWING the recent opening of it Business Wing, the Westcliff Hotel in Johannesburg - a member of the Orient Express Hotels group - has announced it will open a dedicated business lounge in July this year which, amongst others, will offer a quick, convenient breakfast for executives on the go.
The Business Wing caters for leisure and business travellers who need high-tech equipment, offering portable business facilities in the guestrooms, including a laptop, mobile phone and printer.
'Information Technology' butlers are on hand to deal to with IT-related enquiries.
In another move, the Westcliff has joined its sister hotel, the Mount Nelson in Cape Town, in raising funds for the Hotel Housing Trust.
A donation appeal sheet is placed in all rooms, discreetly making guests aware of the fund, should they wish to contribute.
To date, the Mount Nelson has raised R184 153 for the trust, and other participating hotels have raised the balance of R300 000.
