Royal Caribbean has revealed details of the next major addition to its private destination portfolio, Perfect Day Mexico, an 81-hectare island experience set to open on Mexico’s Caribbean coast in late 2027.
The site will feature North and South America's tallest waterslide tower, the world’s longest lazy river and Royal Caribbean’s largest Splashaway Bay for kids.
Highlights also include adults-only zones like El Hideaway, an upscale Costa Beach Club with private cabanas, and nearly two miles of beach at Chill Beach North and South. Fiesta Plaza, 12 themed dining venues, 24 bars and local entertainment round out the experience.
Perfect Day Mexico will be offered on Western Caribbean itineraries departing from Galveston, New Orleans and Florida. Bookings open later this year.
This new development is part of Royal Caribbean’s expanded ‘Ultimate Destination’ line-up, which also includes:
- Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, Bahamas (opening in December)
- Royal Beach Club Cozumel, Mexico (opening in 2026)
- Lelepa, Vanuatu (opening in 2027)
Cruises International is the GSA for Royal Caribbean in the South African market.
