On December 3, Hotel Sky Sandton celebrated its fifth birthday with a lively carnival-themed celebration filled with music, colour and entertainment.
True to the hotel’s entertainment-focused identity, the celebration showcased live musical acts, jugglers, magicians and delicious cuisine.
Reflecting on the last five years, Garrick Grabe, GM of Hotel Sky, said the hotel’s opening, during the height of COVID, remained one of the highlights.
“It was very brave to take the decision to open in a very competitive market like Sandton and to be able to survive the five years – I think that’s a milestone for this property,” said Grabe.
The hotel group says it is now looking to expand its footprint into new destinations.
