Insight Vacations unveils new itineraries

Insight Vacations have launched their new 2019 Europe and Britain collection with 96 journeys including brand new trips to Scandinavia and Greece.

The Northern Lights of Scandanavia itinerary will consist of a 10-day Country Roads Journey starting in Helsinki. Guests will board a flight to the village of Ivalo to view the aurora borealis through their hotel room’s glass ceiling at the Aurora Village located near Urho Kekkonen National Park.
 
Onwards to Norway, clients will travel to Nordcapp, a place to witness the Northern Lights and then drive from North Cape to Alta to view the fjords and enjoy the local ice bar. Guests will also visit a working Husky farm and meet Trine Lyrek, a champion dog sledder and her Alaskan Huskies. Guests can also join an optional Husky dog sled ride with some of the racing dogs in the country.

Next on the itinerary is the 12-day Greek Island Hopper experience. This journey begins in Athens where guests will spend their first day with a local expert to visit the ancient sights of the Acropolis and Parthenon. Guests will then join the locals and take a ferry to Santorini where they’ll stay for four days.
 
The adventure continues by sailing across to scenic Mykonos where they will spend another four days to explore the white and blue streets, beaches, and enjoy fresh Mediterranean cuisine including welcome and celebration dinners. Clients will also meet a local captain who will accompany them on a cruise around the island.

With the Greek Island Hooper experience, guests also have the option of Greek Island Stays on the islands of Mykonos or Santorini.
