R10 000 in cash is going
to Brilliant Maebela, Wings
Corporate, East Rand, in the
first of six monthly incentive
draws among consultants
who have achieved 1 400
points or more on Travelinfo
Workshops.
There are now over
15 airlines, car-hire
companies and tour
operators using the platform
for their product training,
which became a 365/24
classroom last month.
Consultants can get up
to five stars if they have
completed one workshop
a month as part of a new
thrust to use continuing
education to improve travel
product knowledge. All those
who qualify will go into a
monthly draw for R10 000
until the end of the year.
From August, agents will
need 1 600 points to qualify
for the draw. Each month
thereafter, they will need an
additional 200 points until
they reach 2 400 points.
It is now costing most
suppliers less than R40 to
train a consultant.
Powerful reporting allows
the first adopters like
Tourvest and Flight Centre
to be able to see who their
stars are. They are also able
to support their preferred
suppliers by incentivising
their consultants to focus
on them by way of bonus
