Kenneth Kenei has been appointed Kenya Airways Country Manager South Africa. He joined the airline 11 years ago as an analyst and has worked in Kenya, Uganda and now South Africa.

Speaking of opportunities for growth for KQ, Kenei says: “Route expansion is a constant for KQ and we treat it as an ongoing concern by continuously evaluating opportunities.

“We recently launched flights to Maputo, Mozambique and Eldoret in Kenya’s Rift Valley.”

Kenya Airways currently has 26 flights a week from Nairobi to Johannesburg and nine services a week between Nairobi and Cape Town, of which three fly onward to Vic Falls, Zimbabwe.
