LH redesigns booking class

22 Oct 2013 - by Tammy Sutherns
Comments | 0

Lufthansa’s booking class structure is being redesigned in preparation for the introduction of the new Premium Economy Class in 2014.
Between October 25 and October 27 the booking class G will be removed from the availability displays in the computer reservation systems (CRS) for all LH-operated flights with a travel date on and after May 1. The G/cl will remain available for travel up and until April 30. This change is primarily a technicality and will have a minimal effect on the fare offer.
This means:
•             For journeys booked in the period from October 26 to April 30 nothing will change. Already issued tickets in all classes can be used as booked.
•             Journeys originally booked in G/cl with a travel date from May 1 can be flown as booked without manual rebooking or reissuing of tickets.
•             Reissues can be made at any time on the basis of the available classes/fares.
