Lufthansa groups services
under one brand LUFTHANSA has grouped
all road, rail and helicopter
services that it provides for
travellers between airports
under the single ‘Lufthansa
Express’ brand name.
This includes high-speed ICE
trains, modern long-distance
buses, limousines and
helicopter services.
By bringing the various
services under a single brand
name, Lufthansa is offering a
wide range of local or regional
travel options from a single
source that can be booked in
addition to flights.
The airline also plans to
provide inbound travellers
with a new Express Shuttle
service to and from alpine
ski resorts. With Lufthansa
Express Helicopter, customers
can also make their onward
journey by air. “Our intermodal
strategy is designed to provide
our customers with a travel
process that is as smooth and
seamless as possible,” says
Markus Pauly, Lufthansa’s
director of infrastructure
and development at the
Frankfurt hub.
