Marriott to debut Westin brand in UK

Marriott International will debut the Westin Hotels and Resorts brand in the UK, with the opening of the Westin London City set for 2020.
Owned by 4C Hotel Group and managed by RBH, the hotel will have 220 guest rooms, including 29 suites, and a Presidential suite. All the rooms will have Westin’s signature services and amenities, included the Heavenly Bed and Heavenly Bath experiences. It will have an indoor pool, a spa, and the WestinWORKOUT fitness studio, as well as the RunWESTIN programme with five and eight kilometer jogging routes. Guests can also make use of the brand’s Gear Lending programme, which has New Balance shoes and clothing available for use during their stay.
The hotel features 827 sqm of meeting and event space, including a junior ballroom and four meeting rooms, as well as a 24-hour business centre.
The Westin London City is part of the redevelopment of the former Queensbridge House site.The hotel will complete the northern riverbank walkway between the Tower of London and Millennium Bridge. The  lobby will lead to a riverside bar and restaurant opening onto a new public walkway, providing views across the river to Shakespeare’s Globe and the South Bank.
