Marriott to open new Seychelles resort

Marriott International is to open the new luxury Laïla Resort in Anse Royale on Mahé on February 1.  

The 84 rooms and suites will have balconies and private terraces. Accommodation will comprise eight interleading twin rooms, 67 deluxe king rooms, five junior terrace suites, two junior suites, a senior suite and one accessible room. All suites have private decks or a separate room with sofa bed. The senior suite has a private plunge pool with sea views. 

Facilities include a spa and beauty salon, meeting room, beauty and curio shop, a lounge bar, kids’ recreational area and a swimming pool with adjoining kiddies’ pool. The resort also has three restaurants serving multinational cuisine. Complimentary WiFi is available. 

Activities include surfing, kayaking and snorkelling. 

Laïla Resort is managed by Marriott International under its lifestyle brand, Tribute Portfolio brand. The resort is 15 minutes from the airport.
