Marriott Hotels has opened a new property in Cappadocia, near Göreme and close to some of Turkey’s top tourist attractions.

The hotel is situated near Göreme’s famous hot-air balloon launch sites, the Unesco-listed Göreme National Park, the Open-Air Museum and the renowned underground cities.

The hotel features 298 guestrooms built using locally sourced natural stone and featuring artworks created by local artisans, including a collection from Venessa Ceramics.

Facilities include three dining venues, a 24-hour fully equipped fitness centre, an indoor and an outdoor pool, and a health club and spa that features a comprehensive menu of spa treatments, including Turkish baths and massages.

For meetings, weddings, and special occasions, Cappadocia Marriott Hotel offers more than 3 300sqm of event space, including seven multifunctional meeting rooms that can be arranged into 11 configurations and a 1 200sqm column-free ballroom.
