Effective April 1, Etihad will resume a reduced flight schedule between Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International and Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport.
The flights will operate three times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays but are subject to change based on commercial and operational requirements.

Under the airline’s Disruption Handling Policy, passengers travelling up to April 15 can rebook or reroute free of charge for travel up to May 31 within the same region, in any RBD within the same cabin.
Emirates has introduced a separate handling process that applies to customers booked on cancelled flights between April 16 and 30. Details for the new Planned Schedule Change Policy can be found on its agent portal.
