Air Mauritius has introduced new charges for its ancillary services, effective April 1.
Emergency exit row seats will increase from R550 to R650 per person. Business-class lounge access in South Africa being sold at the airport will increase to R350 for all airports.
Last-minute airport upgrades to business class on the Airbus wide-body aircraft (refurbished and new generation) will be increased to R3 300 per person from Cape Town and Johannesburg. The last-minute airport upgrade to business class on the A319 remains at R1 800 per person.
Excess baggage will change from US$60 (R865) per piece to $65 (R938) per piece.
For name corrections, customers will be charged R1 500 with required authorisation, and the administration fee for refunds is R600.
Rerouting for fares that do not permit rerouting with the required authorisation will be charged R1 500.
