The President Hotel in Cape Town will host a fundraising high tea event, Paws & Pastries, on Saturday, May 24, from 14h00 to 17h00. Held at the hotel’s Deck Bar, the event will raise funds to support the sterilisation of 100 dogs in Atlantis.

The initiative is a collaboration between four animal welfare organisations: Run for the Dogs, Paws A While, Pit Pals and the WOWproject, all focused on providing veterinary care and reducing the stray dog population in underserved communities.

“This is a chance for guests and their four-legged companions to enjoy an afternoon of treats while supporting a cause that improves animal welfare,” said Jessica Sutcliffe, Food & Beverage Director at the President Hotel.

The event will include a best-dressed dog competition, a pet photo booth, paw print art station, and a charity raffle. A curated menu has been prepared for both dogs and humans, with savoury and sweet items.
