Etihad Airways has announced its partnership with Paramount Pictures for the seventh instalment of the Mission: Impossible franchise called Dead Reckoning Part One.
According to Simple Flying, first- and business-class passengers can now enjoy a Movie Snacks menu, along with a list of mocktails like ‘Mission Accomplished’, ‘Undercover Sipper’, ‘Secret Agent’ and ‘Thyme’s Up’ until the end of August.
The airline is also planning a series of special fares with “self-destructing offers” and branded marketing content, as well as prizes for movie fans, which will include travelling “on their next mission with a movie-themed experience”.
Later this year, all Etihad passengers will be able to watch Mission: Impossible movies on the airline’s E-Box inflight entertainment system.
Etihad cabin crew and aircraft appear in Dead Reckoning Part One. Parts of the movie were filmed in Abu Dhabi, including the Midfield Terminal at Abu Dhabi International Airport, which is opening at the end of this year. Several sets were built at the terminal and death-defying scenes shot on the terminal building’s roof.
