A hippo calf was recently spotted catching a ride on its mother’s back in Tsavo National Park in Kenya.

The photo was taken by Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and posted by Wildest Africa on Instagram.

The caption reads: “Every day, our pilots conduct aerial patrols of the Tsavo landscape. From their bird’s eye view, they are able to spot signs of illegal activities, poacher’s hideouts, animals in distress, orphans in need of rescuing, and all manner of wildlife emergencies. They are also treated to some spectacular sights, such as this happy pod of hippos!”
