Envoyage South Africa General Manager Chantal Gouws has been inducted into the Flight Centre Travel Group Global Hall of Fame, while National Sales Leader Shelley Daniels has been named Top Salesperson Globally across the Envoyage network for the second consecutive year.
Gouws received the career achievement honour in recognition of her long-term leadership and contribution to the Flight Centre Travel Group. Daniels retained her global sales title across the Envoyage network, which spans South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the US.
Lufthansa Group reshuffles leadership
The Lufthansa Group has announced several executive appointments across its airlines.
Edi Wolfensberger will become CEO of Edelweiss from October 1, succeeding Bernd Bauer, who is leaving the Lufthansa Group.
Matthias Spohr, currently CEO of Lufthansa Aviation Training, will succeed Wolfensberger as Chief Operating Officer of Eurowings from October 1.
Michael Kircher will take over as CEO of Lufthansa City Airlines and Co-Managing Director of Lufthansa Aviation GmbH from November 1, replacing Peter Albers, who will return to flying as a Lufthansa captain.
