Movers and Shakers: New GM for The Travel Group

Dmitri Eremin was appointed GM of The Travel Group on May 1.

The Travel Group is a corporate TMC with offices in the UK and South Africa. Eremin will be based in South Africa for present time.  

Eremin has been in the industry for 21 years, beginning his journey in 2004 in London when he joined FCM. This kicked off his career in travel, which has included roles at Flight Centre in the UK, South Africa and Australia.

Kirsty Rebelo moves to QR

Kirsty Rebelo has been appointed Sales Manager, Johannesburg, of Qatar Airways.

With 25 years of experience in the travel industry, Rebelo has worked with travel operators in South Africa as well as abroad.  Rebelo was previously Sales and Marketing Manager for Air Mauritius, a position she held since September 2022.

Swart moves up at TLC Vacations

Natalie Swart has been promoted to Regional Sales Manager at TLC Vacations and will be responsible for inland South Africa and the rest of Africa.

Swart, who has 23 years of experience in the corporate travel space, joined TLC Vacations in October 2021 as Operations Manager. Her love for The Lux Collective brand led her into the role of Sales and Marketing Manager where she built strong relationships to help grow The Lux Collective.

Swart will now focus on expanding TLC’s reach across inland provinces and the rest of Africa, bringing a personal touch and unmatched product knowledge to every interaction, said Carlos Luis, Managing Director of TLC Vacations.
