Update: the date in line 2 was corrected to April 2025.

MSC Cruises’ second World Class ship, MSC World America, will set sail on its inaugural season’s first seven-night Caribbean itinerary from MSC’s new PortMiami terminal in April 2025.

The inaugural itineraries comprise the eastern Caribbean, including Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, San Juan, Puerto Rico and Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve; and western Caribbean, including Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico, Roatan and Honduras.

The 22-deck ship features 2 626 cabins with an outdoor ‘Harbour’ on deck 20, providing an outdoor space for kids and families. There is an outdoor World Promenade, an indoor World Galleria with restaurants, shops, lounges and bars, an 11-deck-high stainless steel dry slide, water park, stylish staterooms and suites.

MSC World America has a selective catalytic reduction system that reduces NOx emissions by 90% when LNG is not available. It also has advanced wastewater treatment and underwater radiated noise management systems.

MSC Voyagers Club members benefit from exclusive benefits when booking more than 12 months ahead of departure, including a 5%+5% discount, double membership points for the type of experience chosen and €50 (R1 000) onboard credit.

Speaking about MSC World America’s launch, MSC Cruises CEO Gianni Onorato said: “This is not only part of our commitment to growth in the North American market, but also to bring our newest and most innovative ships to the region for our international guests from around the world. This exciting new ship will definitely deliver the ultimate cruise experience in the Caribbean.”
