NCL reveals first look at new waterpark

Norwegian Cruise Line has revealed the first images of Great Tides Waterpark on its private island, Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas, ahead of its official grand opening on September 4.

The Great Tides Waterpark will feature:

  • 19 waterslides, including the 50-metre Tidal Tower with eight slides.
  • Cliffside Cove with two cliff jumps and a family slide.
  • A kids’ splash zone with eight mini slides and interactive water features.
  • A 245-metre dynamic river featuring an illuminated bioluminescent tunnel.

Guests wanting to experience the waterpark’s opening can sail on Norwegian Luna’s seven-day Caribbean cruise, departing from Miami on August 29.
