The Government of the Netherlands has decided to lift its European Union entry ban for the Netherlands.
“Given the current epidemiological situation in the Netherlands, the Government feels that for entry to the Netherlands the ban is no longer proportional,” the official Government website reads. The European Commission is also planning to publish a proposal for revising the rules for entering the EU in spring 2023.
Therefore, no more COVID-related restrictions or requirements apply to travellers entering the Netherlands, including those from countries outside the EU/Schengen Area.
The need to quarantine on arrival was rescinded for international arrivals in February.
