New Aussie carrier plans 2026 take-off

A new Australian carrier, Koala Airlines, is expected to launch domestic flights late next year, according to the airline’s CEO, Bill Astling.

According to the website, the airline is finalising negotiations to acquire a fleet.

In 2019, the airline acquired Desert Air Safaris, focusing on air tours and charter flights throughout Australia, Papua New Guinea and the Pacific Islands.
