Canopy by Hilton is coming to South Africa, with its first property opening in Longkloof, Cape Town, on January 24.

The Canopy by Hilton Longkloof will feature 154 rooms with a design that celebrates Cape Town’s diverse cultural heritage while offering guests modern comfort.

The rooms will feature plush beds, artisan-crafted furniture and local artworks to provide a unique South African touch. Floors one and two will have artwork inspired by fynbos, the third floor will be ocean-themed and the fourth floor will be a tribute to the Bo-Kaap.

The hotel’s signature restaurant will offer bold and imaginative takes on traditional flavours. A fitness centre is available and guests have easy access to iconic attractions such as Table Mountain, the V&A Waterfront and the vibrant Kloof and Bree Streets.

Mercia Horn has been appointed as GM of the property. With roots in Cape Town and over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Horn brings extensive expertise and local culture and spirit to the hotel’s operations.
